We are throwing down the challenge for our chat members to hybridize the best yellow daylily with a white "Munson" type watermark.  Any yellow, any form, any ploidy, any size, as long as it is a yellow with that Munson type chalk watermark.

To our knowledge, there is only 1 seedling seen on Richard Norris' website that is a yellow daylily with a white Munson style, watermark.  So see if you can make one too.

Start dabbing this year [2009], grow the seeds, bloom the seedlings, snap a picture of the one that most closely meets the above description.  We will then judge "The Best Yellow With A Munson Style watermark picture.

This should be fun.  Don't procrastinate.  Lets see how close we can get.
